Charlie covering his ears
Two annoying girls moved into the apartment above me.
I'm forced to hear every dumb thing they say.
These are my letters to them.

  9. Mimi says:

Making fun of someone because of an eating disorder is NOT OKAY, man…

But you’re right, that’s seriously messed up.

  10. Cass says:

I can see it now: “Do you have anything that’s been sitting out for a couple days or that’s gone bad that you just haven’t tossed out yet?”

  11. Alex says:

The secret to great weight loss is food poisoning? Hmmmm, they could make it a new trend!

  12. Lovesick Leopard says:

That’s just a whole new level of messed up.

  19. Heiner meyer says:

ugh making fun of bulimia is a cheap shot. you’ve made eating disorder jokes a bunch of times before too. It’s nothing personal against you. You’re not trying to be mean but at least know that it can hurt people’s feelings

    • Leila says:

I wouldn’t say he’s making fun of it, but making dry observations and comments about their choices. It’s clear that these girls are not smart at all. And i’m sure that he’s aware of how bad of a disease it is. But as with all the internet, you can’t take everything personally.

    • Mabrey says:

There is a difference between bulimia and making yourself throw up. Bulimia is almost ALWAYS paired with Body Dysmorphic Disorder, where one focuses on a certain flaw (i.e. their size) so much that they think it is much worse that it is, no matter how small it may be. Making yourself throw up to lose weight does not make one bulimic, and I know what I am talking about after being in and out of treatment centers for the past 5 years. They can stop whenever they want, I can’t.

  20. Greer says:

Bulimia: twice the taste, none of the calories.

  21. CookiesVs.Cupcakes says:

I’m so sorry that you’ll have to hear that. *shudder* I couldn’t stand that, I’d go to a hotel. Blech.

  22. Lizzzzzz says:

Ahahha. these are the kind of people that make me hate living in LA. they are EVERYWHERE. The upside to living in LA? the opertunity to see Derrick Fisher and other celebrities randomly at work…

  23. Katoka says:

Obaasan wanted to let everyone know that “These girls are stupid, food poisoning is no good.” Quite enlightening, Obaasan.

  24. Katoka says:

    Also, I mistyped my email earlier. – -;

  25. Haley says:

Ew did you have to listen to her vomit for the whole time? Gross. That’s what usually makes me throw up.

  26. Mindy says:

That must be awful sounds to hear….I’m sorry Charlie! We all know how terrible you insulation is.

  27. Lexi says:

This site is making fun of dumb girls, and dumb girls do dumb things like intentionally getting food poising to lose a couple pounds.
Charlie’s not making fun of bulimia he’s making fun of the girls poor life decisions. What is he supposed to do, promote it and tell girls it’s okay to throw up to be thin?

  28. Chris Perry says:

I’m so sorry. Both for Charlie and the girls. This is a new depth of ignorance/stupidity surely?

  29. Caitlyn says:

My Calc teacher told us the quickest way to lose twenty pounds was to contract malaria. (He was an odd one but still my favorite teacher)

And my friends and I all love your website! These things make my day!

  30. Ellie says:

Next time they go there, “OMG! I lost so much weight I almost died! We should go there again!” haha XD

  31. U.N.Owen says:

So they are going to commute to that place, eat lots of food, vomit their guts out to lose just 3 pounds? Nah, too much bother.

  32. GAM Defender says:

He’s making fun of what they said, not insulting those with an actual problem. I don’t honestly believe they have an eating disorder, but then again Charlie’s the only one that would know. Either way, a joke is not proof that they actually have it, it’s just a joke.
